    Here’s a piece I wrote mostly on site at the Benton Lake National Wildlife Refuge. It is a wetlands set aside for migratory birds. Thank you for the space to post.

  12. I want to thank all of you for keeping the train rolling! Even though I don’t catch a ride every week, and I lag at getting around and commenting, I do try to return the favor and I really appreciate knowing that this train keeps going! Thanks especially to Gautami!

    I forgot to put the link up last week to a post about the new US Poet Laureate, WS Merwin, with links to some poems. He’s one of my favorite poets.

    And for this week, I have a poem by a friend about attending one of Shakespeare’s plays.
