Welcome back after Halloween. Hope you have those scary verses ready to post it here! Scarier, the merrier! Get going, Friends.

Do hop on aboard and also invite your friends to do the same.

Please don’t forget to leave the link of the post you want to share. Don’t leave your blog URLs.

Do visit each other’s posts and please be a polite critique. We need not trash each others’ works. We can critique the work but not ones beliefs or thoughts.

Come on. Join in. I know you want to!

A few times, comments don’t show. Don’t panic. I will get those here ASAP! Leave one link per comment.

The author of this poem is unknown but it’s so powerful I just had to share!

  2. Sarah, you ought to leave a direct link to that poem. Not via your blog post.

  3. You can read the poem here:

as retold by Elaine L. Lindy

This is a reworked work of “Goblin Market” by Christina Rossetti (1830-1894.

I am posting the link for Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti here:

Oh my, I posted in the wrong month, somehow! 🙂

I saw that you said on someone’s blog to share “creative works” so if it’s ok that this is prose, not a poem, here’s my “Guts or Nuts” piece: Please drop by for a friendly visit to my writing & photography blog.

  9. GT,

Thank you for the invite. Here’s my offering . . .

Its not a poem and written to a prompt, but its something I want to get out and have read. I appreciate the opportunity offered here.

This is hard for me. I will write a very long piece then delete all but the last four lines. As you can tell we are expecting a new grandson in March. I always wonder when I look in a new baby face “Who are you?” For me, it become abundantly clear within a very short time. I am always reverent in the presence of an angel!
