Monday Poetry Train Revisited #28

Posted by gautami tripathy on May 18, 2009

Dear folks, sorry for this delay. My server was down. Welcome Monday Poetry Train. Hop on aboard and also invite your friends to do the same.

Please don’t forget to leave the link of the post you want to share. Don’t leave your blog URLs.

IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to visit each other. Be a polite critique. We need not trash each others’ works. We can critique the work but not ones beliefs or thoughts.

A few times, comments don’t show. Don’t panic. I will get those here ASAP! Leave one link per comment.

And I don’t have to tell you help spread word about the train! Do it any way you like. By hook or by crook!

    Hi Gautami,

I wanted to leave the address of my poetry blog above. I counted all the poems I’ve written in the last three years and posted in ‘My Muse’ and that total is over 500!

  29. Melanie,

    1. Your email address bounced.
    2. Your site seems to contain malware, and my computer warns me off.
    3. Here’s how to create a link:

You have to use what is called HTML, “Hyper Text Markup Language.” It’s like a code.

Here’s the HTML for making a link:

Here you Write the Name of Your Post

make sure to use the quotation marks, if you cut and paste the url sometimes the marks disappear.

for example, here’s the HTML that I would use for my blog:

    The Resident Djinn

    Get it?

    Richard

  30. Melanie, forget it, the comment field is reading my example as html and not posting the code. Send me a mail and I’ll write back.

    rwellsrwells@yahoo.com

    Richard
