Monday Poetry Train Revisited #20

Posted by gautami tripathy on March 23, 2009

Dear folks, welcome to the Poetry Train. We are getting a lot of new participants. Please don’t forget to leave the link of the post you want to share. Don’t leave your blog URLs.

IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to visit each other. Be a polite critique. We need not trash each others’ works. We can critique the work but not ones beliefs or thoughts.

A few times, comments don’t show. Don’t panic. I will get those here ASAP! Leave one link per comment.

And I don’t have to tell you help spread word about the train! Do it any way you like.

  16. This is a poem I wrote for Poem: A virtual Poetry Group as a response to Denise Duhamel’s “Delta Flight 659: to Sean Penn” in which all the end words have “pen” in them.

I wrote mine so that all the ends words are the sounds of the first six letters of the alphabet.

    Hey Riders (no pun intended),

For some reason, pieces of my website are going up in electrons, and a few posts, and almost all comments have mysteriously disappeared. But, to continue the Lenten Gospels I’m posting a two-fer – Sight to the Man Born Blind, preceeded by one you may have seen (no pun) At the Well.

SIGHT TO THE MAN BORN BLIND

  18. Another poem from Guantanamo detainees, this one “Ode to the sea” by Ibrahim al-Rubaish

This is what I wrote today. Hope you can associate with this. The style of poetry here is Acrostic. Take a look, and see if you like it…
